No, I haven’t unfriended you on Facebook. Well, kind of. If you are offended by the concept, then go away. To everybody still in the room, let me clarify…
You haven’t been unfriended. Instead, I’ve simply “broken the habit”—I have deleted my Facebook profile.
Mr Blinker happened across a pair of rose-colour tinted spectacles in a shop of knacks and tricks. Being a naturally curious fellow, he proceeded to try them on.
“Ooh! Such a splendid sight that these spectacles do serenade my eyes.”
Having accepted that the rose glasses might offer him a new perspective on things, Mr B quickly purchased them and proceeded on his merry until crossing the path of our amenable Mr T. After the customary exchange of mornings good and inquisitions of methods of being, the conversation proceeded thusly.

Last Sunday we hitched a ride with the AUC guys down to Silicon Valley. It was the same as last year’s tour: Fry’s (the small one) where I bought an SSD and some Altoids; the Computer History Museum, which was smaller and less impressive than last year but they still have the mechanical difference engine which is great; and Apple HQ at 1 Infinite Loop, where I bought a T-shirt, a shirt for work, and a microphone/button for my phone. Finally we returned to San Francisco to check in at Moscone West for the conference. Continue reading
